The curriculum covers a wide range of subjects including Materials of Construction, Surveying, Structural Drawing, CAD, Water Resources, Engineering Mechanics, Strength of Materials, RCC, and Concrete Technology. As one of the oldest and most expansive engineering disciplines, Civil Engineering prepares students for careers in designing, constructing, and maintaining infrastructure, while instilling strong professional ethics and a commitment to public safety and sustainability.

Students get admission into Polytechnic Diploma Civil Engineering course are given good exposures to acquire adequate know ledge of theoretical and practical about Civil Engineering aspects like quality control, materials screening, construction management, professional practice and comprehensive surveying, building drawing, irrigation and bridge drawing, structural engineering etc.

The Department possesses highly equipped laboratories, latest Survey Instruments, very good Computer facility including latest software. Our aim will always be to ensure that present and future students will enjoy all facilities that one would get at any other Institute of National repute.

Eligibility

Criteria for admission to polytechnic is SSLC or equivalent with percentage specified by the DTE. Lateral entry to second year diploma for ITI and PUC students in Science stream.
